NOTICE OF MANDATED COURT CLOSURE
• Pursuant to the order of the Judicial Council of the State of California,
 the Amador Superior Court will be closed on the following dates:

• There will be no court hearings, trials or other proceedings
   held on the days designated for court closure.
   The Clerk’s Office will not be open to accept filings
   or payment of fines and fees on these days.

• If you received a notice to appear or a summons to appear in court
   on any day designated for closure,
   please contact the Amador Superior Court at (209) 257-2600.

• If you received the notice to appear from an agency or attorney,
   you should contact them directly to discuss your appearance.

Local Rules - Changes, Revisions and Additions
Procedural rules, adopted by the Amador Superior Court, to be used in conjunction with California Rules of Court and California statutory law.

PLEASE NOTE OUR HOURS OF OPERATION!!!
Amador Superior Court's hours of operation are from 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. The Court House is open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for access to the courtrooms. But the public counters are unavailable until 9:30 am. This is a necessary change due to budgetary constraints. All Court staff appreciate your understanding in this matter. If the need to change arises again, you can check here for the latest information.

Today, the Court consists of two judges: the Presiding Judge, Honorable Susan C. Harlan, and Assistant Presiding Judge Honorable David S. Richmond . The court also has one part time Commissioner, Honorable Hugh K. Swift.

The quality of justice administered by the Court is directly related to the quality and competence of the people who work for us. We are proud of our employees and the services they provide. The Court has been serving the citizens of Amador County since 1855.

As you can see from our mission, goals, and vision, increased technology and access to information is very important to the Court. As we move through the 21st century, we plan to offer more services to the public through both technological advancements and improved access.
